Turtle power

Driving home from grocery shopping i spied 4 large turtles rutted into the ground (presumably laying eggs) in a sandy parking lot near a nearby lake/swamp. I couldnt pass up the impromptu photo shoot.

there are more photos i will likely upload as stock, but this is the one i liked best as art (also if anyone has a clue to the species, id be most obliged to know)
